About Lesley Grzybowski

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing. My nursing career started in 2015 and I have over 8 years of experience specializing in behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have been able to advocate for the mental health population in a variety of ways additional to bedside nursing and medication management, such as mental health community education and outreach.

I am passionate about the importance of the establishment of a therapeutic rapport with my patients and believe in the value of a holistic approach to care through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. I obtained a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2001 with an Interdisciplinary Studies Major that allowed me to ascertain the relationship between Psychology, Biology and Sociology.

I am committed to continuous learning in order to provide evidence-based treatment modalities. My goal is for patients to feel empowered, to feel heard, and to be an active participant in the care they receive.
